Abstract

The change in temperature and heat flux in uncooled and gas-cooled current leads, the lower section of which is immersed in liquid nitrogen at different depths, is considered. The temperature distribution in the end part of the current lead is investigated when it is connected to a high-temperature superconductor.

Keywords: current leads for superconducting devices; calculation of cryogenic current leads; temperature distribution in cryogenic current leads.
